Elevating an Older Home in Barre VT

Elevating an older home with a new kitchen while optimizing space and storage is a rewarding challenge. When designing in a historic home, it's important to choose finishes that respect and reflect the beauty of that period. In this kitchen, we achieved that with light rustic cabinetry. It is rare to fit a 36-inch refrigerator, dual Lazy Susans, a trash pullout, a dishwasher, and a 36-inch sink base into a kitchen in an older home. This design successfully meets many practical requirements for function and storage space.
