Sales & Systems Manager
Drive growth by leading the sales team and up-leveling operating systems and processes.
START DATE: June 2, 2025
COMPENSATION: $60,000 - $70,000 + BONUS
SCHEDULE:
Full-time, Exempt
Monday – Friday, 1 – 2 Saturdays each month, and occasional evening weekday appointments
Typical workday 8:00am-5:00pm
LOCATION:
100% Work from Work
2 – 3 days job site visits per week*
*3-4 overnight trips per year

Key Responsibilities with Success Metrics
#1 Proactively manage the sales staff and drive our sales pipeline
- Oversee sales designers, provide encouragement
- Use Pipedrive metrics to monitor leads, pass projects etc..
- Learn sales and design, take on projects as necessary
- Greet customers in showroom when no other designer is available
- Business development, cold calling, meetings with current customers
- Perform sales employee reviews
- Keep sales jobs up to date
o Incoming vendor files, price, calculation spreadsheets
- Work with designers to ensure continuous flow of leads
- Create marketing opportunities, workshops, presentations, receptions
Success Metrics:
· Salespeople are 100% to their pipeline and monthly sales goals
· 20% year over year revenue growth in our top three highest margin specialties
· Attend and/or host at least two industry networking events per month (Host at least one event per quarter)
· Drop in for a visit to our top 20 customers at least once per quarter
#2 Provide strategic oversight and fulfill responsibilities as the owner’s representative
- Jobsite visits and coordination
- Measure specs on commercial jobs
- Attend countertop template appointments
- Help out as needs with other staff, deliveries, warehouse etc..
- Sample sales, small items, warrant parts
- Check salesperson orders for accuracy and adherence to standards
- Hire and onboard staff as needed
- Build camaraderie among staff
- Ensure the shop is given the necessary paperwork and drawings for jobs
Success Metrics:
· Margin of error in onsite measurement limited to one instance in six-month rolling period
· Plan and execute at least two team culture and engagement opportunities per month (e.g. bring donuts on national donut day, play two truths and a lie during monthly company meeting)
#3 Up-level the business systems and processes
- Learn systems and ensure compliance
- Assist with the creation and management of the systems database

Sales Manager Ideal Candidate Characteristics
· 5 years of experience in business management or construction
· Degree in Business Management or equivalent
· Does what it takes to get the job done
· Numbers person who is easy to talk to

· Knows it takes three seconds to make a buying decision
· An idea person with a good track record
Benefits & Perks
· Paid Time Off (PTO) – 10 days per calendar year (15 days after three years, 20 days after 5 years)
· Health Insurance – 50% of employee monthly premium covered by the company
· Retirement Plan – 3% company match on pension contributions (eligibility begins January 1)
· Paid Holidays – New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
